BDFCL targets 57, 820 rural clients by 2013

26 January, 2010 - The country’s sole development bank that caters to rural Bhutanese, the Bhutan development finance corporation Ltd. (BDFCL), is aiming to acquire 57,820 rural credit customers by the end of 2013 as part of its micro-financing mandate. In 2009, BDFCL had 18,627 rural credit customers.

Open for Business

Upon completion of the financial year - 2009, the BDFCL is now open for business for the 2010.

With the appointment of former General Manager, Credit Operations as the Dy. Managing Director, a vacancy has been created for the post of a General Manager under Credit Operations.

After RGOB enhanced the paid up capital by Nu. 100 million in June, 2009. the new share holding pattern are as follows:
